Xiaotian Ju

Dr. Xiaotian Ju joined Dr. Manali Mukherjee’s lab as a postdoctoral fellow starting from March 2024. He completed his Bachelor of Science with honors in life science from University of Toronto. He defended his PhD in December 2023 supervised by Dr. Roma Sehmi at McMaster University and his PhD thesis investigated the airway microenvironmental cues modulating group 2 innate lymphoid cell (ILC 2) activities in asthma. His current research focus on investigating airway mucus plugging as a consequence of airway autoimmunity in severe asthma.

Fun Fact: As an ILC2 investigator, I have high levels of ILC2 in my blood.
