Miyou Shimoshige

Miyou was a 5th year student at McMaster University, studying Biology and Pharmacology! She has work experience at BC Children's Hospital as a clinical research assistant and Kyungpook National University Chilgok Hospital as a research assistant for drug discovery and development for diabetes and metabolic diseases. Miyou worked with Dr. Mukherjee for her thesis which involved investigating autoimmunity and inflammatory mediators in sputa of asthma prone patients. 

 

Fun fact: I can fluently speak 3 languages!
