Kiho Son

Kiho was a postdoctoral fellow in the Mukherjee Lab. His project investigates the complex interplay between airway autoimmunity and mucus plugging/luminal obstruction in severe asthma. Kiho recently defended his PhD, under the supervision of Dr. Luke Janssen. His doctoral project revolved around elucidating the mechanisms of fluid shear stress-induced eosinophil migration. He currently serves as the trainee board member of the International Eosinophil Society.

Fun Fact: Kiho did not drink coffee until his final year of his PhD… and now he is addicted.
