Emily Volfson
Emily is a recent graduate of the Bachelor of Health Sciences program at McMaster University. She completed her third year thesis course investigating the role of various biological triggers that impact mucus production. As well, she has been working on a project investigating Charcot-Leyden crystals and their association with airway autoimmune responses in severe asthma.
As she transitions to the MD program at the University of Toronto, she will take all the important lessons she has learned at the Mukherjee Lab with her!

Fun Fact: Emily loves riding horses and has competed for seven years!
