Alex Huynh
Alex is a recent graduate of the Bachelor of Health Sciences program at McMaster University and completed his third year thesis project in the Mukherjee Lab. He worked on the SSIMPLE project investigating the application of formalin-fixed, paraffin-embedded (FFPE) sputum plugs to identify eosinophilia in complex airways disease patients. In addition, he contributed to research into the association of rheological parameters to mucous plugging scores on CT radiological reports in patients with asthma.
Alex in continuing he education at the MD program at the Michael G. DeGroote School of Medicine at McMaster University and will take the clinical knowledge and research skills gained into a new chapter of his studies.
